Upperton Fundraising Day
On 12th September 2025, Upperton Pharma held a fundraising event at Outlaws Rugby Club. The afternoon featured fun activities such as inflatable obstacle courses, a BBQ, and a raffle with prizes generously donated by Upperton’s senior team and board members. The event reflected the spirit of Rainbows, which is dedicated to creating joyful and meaningful moments for children, young people, and their families. In support of this mission, Upperton team members were joined by their families and partners, coming together to enjoy the day and raise funds for Rainbows.
Upperton CEO, Nikki Whitfield said “At Upperton, we want our business to support the wider community. We do that daily through the scientific breakthroughs in our laboratories, but also in the way we support our wider community. Charities like Rainbows are really important to us because they share our goal of changing the lives of patients.”

The Upperton team alone managed to raise over £2,000. This amount was doubled by the business, taking the total to £4,000. For Rainbows, this money will have a huge impact on the children and families they support and help them to continue brightening the lives they care for.
A representative from Rainbows told us “This amazing £4,000 could pay for a week of Hospice at Home care for our children. This service provides specialist nursing care in the homes of our babies, children and young people and means so much to our families. It gives them the choice to receive care at the right place for them.”
